The system
The unit screens show fresh air, return and exhaust dampers, exhaust and supply fans, filters, staged heaters, DX cooling and heating coils and a humidifier. Temperature and humidity of outdoor, fresh, exhaust and supply air are monitored live.
The room overview shows temperature, humidity and CO₂ set points and live values for each room. The rooms include production rooms, a drying room, a +3 °C hibernation room, +13 °C and +18 °C cold rooms, a +5 °C laboratory room and a pollen freezing room.
What we delivered
- Unit and room monitoring screens with compressor and condenser fan status
- Control of dampers, DX coils, heater stages and the humidifier
- Digital, analogue (0-10 V, 4-20 mA) and PT1000 temperature inputs on Beckhoff EtherCAT I/O
- Alarm, trend, report and user login screens
Result
Many rooms with different temperature and humidity needs, and the units that serve them, now sit in one monitoring system. The I/O configuration screen shows the range and calibration of every field signal to the operator.
