The system
The machine room has three CO₂ and three NH₃ compressors, a -40 °C CO₂ separator, a CO₂ receiver, a surge drum, heat exchangers, an ice machine and a heat pack circuit. NH₃ and CO₂ gas sensors in the machine room are shown on screen in ppm.
The cold room screens cover areas such as raw meat intake, minced meat, doner production and blast freezing rooms with their temperatures, set points and defrost data. The room screens were prepared in German.

- Frequency, current and capacity per compressor, with manual and remote operating modes
- Pressure, temperature and level monitoring for separators and receivers
- Alarm list and trend pages
Result
A cascade system running on two refrigerants, and the cold rooms it serves, are brought together in one SCADA. The operating mode, frequency and load of each compressor can be read at a glance.
